The project aims at piloting innovative vet curricula providing vet in the field of organic food production with comprehensive competences (knowledge and skills) as well as an innovative technological instrument to enhance biodiversity conservation and performances in the agricultural sector. Natural areas, including agricultural fields, are influenced by human activities and their sustainable maintenance is only possible with ongoing human intervention. Organic food production and biodiversity preservation are interconnected. The overall objective is to increase the level of competences in the fields of organic food production and contribute to enhancement of biodiversity through a technological framework for joint action.
During the transnational meeting 2 (TPM2), partners overviewed project results so far and brainstormed for detailed task and responsibility sharing among them related to the next steps. The hosting organization was Avrasya Yenilikçi Toplum Derneği (Turkey), the project partners who came to face to face meeting are Inercia Digital (Spain), Fthia (Greece), Galileo Progetti Nonprofit Kft. (Hungary), The Community Development Institute (CDI) (North Macedonia).
After the project, an E-learning platform- VET for organic farming will be released in order to provide training materials. While the web platform is developing, partners made a few adjustments during the meeting and agreed on the structure. The project also has a facebook page that can reach the target audience providing them the news about organic farming.
